Sub-Postmaster and Retail Assistant, completed Post Office handbook training. Setting up the Post Office and Lotto machine, serving customers at the tills and Post Office interchangeably. Being observant of and attentive to any vulnerable people. Refreshing stock, checking and accepting deliveries. Providing postal services and processing banking transactions.

BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION (Volunteer) – August to October 2018
Administration including creating, printing, scanning and filing price labels and product order documents. Addressing and solving customer queries on the phone and in person.

DOROTHY HOUSE CHARITY SHOPS, BATH (Volunteer whilst at University) – October 2014 to June 2017
Responsible for uploading ‘Gift Aid’ customer details to database and printing donor labels, till operation and cash handling. Supported the business independently running the store. Coordinated stock control, pricing, ensuring quality control and store presentation. Developed customer service skills to enhance customer shopping experience.

YEOVIL LIBRARY (Work Experience) – March 2011
Assisted in creating displays, read aloud at story time, learnt to navigate and master the library system and serve borrowing customers. Independently designed and created an information leaflet to advertise Library services.

Writer’s workshops and Critical Reading Assignments, Writing Gender and Politics 1500-1750, Exploring Prose in Fiction, Feature Journalism and Writing for young people. Adapting language for varying audiences, editing, proof reading and presentation. Background research from set novels, looking for flaws in my literary arguments and challenging them within the assignments, finishing with an analysis, all formatted to university specifications.
