At present I am employed as a receptionist/administrator based on a Holiday Park, I work along
side and assist the park manager as well as covering them on during their absence. I work along
our sales manager also who I assist and aid him in a sales. I am the first point of contact for guest employees, head office and our directors. I manage, and organize and update information using the Park management system Parc Vu which is a software programme for Holiday parks. I am competent with Microsoft Office and outlook . I can communicate and liaise verbally / in writing between owners/ holidaymakers/visitors/suppliers/employees and directors.
I answer high volumes of calls, emails log calls and information and pass on to the relevant department or person . I‘m friendly and polite and have a professional telephone manner. I possess good organization and communication skills, and I’m capable of working under pressure and to deadlines. I have a responsibility to process payments efficiently, prepare and deposit weekly banking. I’m responsible for the opening and closing of the reception/shop area, as well as outer buildings at the start and end of every day. I ensure all health and safety standards are followed, and configure daily / monthly/yearly and quarterly checklist are up to date.
I organize and promote on park events and club entertainment, assist and be present at these events.
I process holiday bookings and organize accommodation for the holiday makers, which includes managing and organizing the housekeeping daily rota, I make myself available to clean caravans and be hands on when needed.
I work well within a team and can work and organize my own workload when needed.
Responsible for checking in/out all holiday guests, and retrieve feedback from the customers.
Prepare welcome packs and conduct welcome calls, to ensure that the customer is experiencing a wonderful stay.
I conduct checks around the park ensuring that owners are adhering to all park rules, record electric and gas checks, which I then invoiced to all owners. I make sure that reception area/shop is clean and tidy and stock at all times and ensure that the security barriers around park are in good working order.
I participate in events on and around the park , this could be by helping in our clubhouse , working behind bar, kitchen , waiting on , or even during outdoor events this could be manning the barbecue, face painting or selling gifts and sweets.
I am very much a peoples person and enjoy and thrive on delivering excellent customer service, I’m prepared to go the extra mile to the best of my ability to ensure the delivery is of a high standard.
Child Pedestrian Training scheme Coordinator

Flintshire County Council November 2004 to July 2017
My post as the above was funded by the Welsh Government within my local authority. My role was to design and manage an overall Child Pedestrian Training Scheme. This was to achieve national and local objectives in reducing child pedestrian casualties by establishing and coordinating a practical Child Pedestrian training scheme for 5 to 7 year olds in selected primary schools.
My duties included implementing the introduction of the scheme within the school timetable. Recruit, train, supervise, support and manage volunteer trainers including allocation of duties and provide direct supervision during training sessions.
Carried out the necessary recruitment checks (DBS) for those working with children and vulnerable adult. Identifying suitable training routes, and carry out risk assessments.
Liaised with Parents, Class teachers, TA’s, Head teachers, school secretaries and governors on a daily basis, as well as the wider community such as police/ PCSO’s and the media.
I monitored and evaluated the scheme which included producing clear and concise reports to feed into a national evaluation of the scheme. I promoted the scheme using various resources, publicity campaigns and display opportunities.
Child Pedestrian Training Scheme Administrative Assistant / Trainer
Flintshire County Council September 2004 to November 2004
I Work within the Road safety Unit within Flintshire County Council assisting the child Pedestrian Coordinator with the deliverance of the Training scheme which involved both administrative duties and practical hands on training. During this role I was assimilated into the post of the coordinator, while it had become vacant, where I was responsible for the two posts, which had a high level of crossover.
Tanning Consultant/ Receptionist

I worked as the above position in conjunction with the owner of the Tanning Salon, within my local area. I was responsible for offering a tanning consultancy service to clients. Assessing customer’s needs, making appointments, taking course bookings and payments, cleaning beds, ensuring the general cleanliness of the salon was presentable at all times.

Classroom Assistant / Clerical support

I experienced at hand another placement within my YTS Training Scheme, as a classroom assistant which entailed being within a classroom of primary age children to assist the class teacher with her lessons, this came in a variety of tasks such as aiding in practical lessons, assisting with reading, writing and numeracy as well as hands on within the creativity tasks.

I left school and went straight into a YTS training scheme where I was placed with 2 care home over a period of two years, they were residential and Nursing Placements

My everyday tasks complied of a variety of job roles within the careers environment. My duties including, bathing, feeding, dressing, toileting and deliverance of medication and general caring needs of that individual, spending time to listen and talk and making sure they had what was needed. Modules had to be completed while working hands on, as part of my YTS, which then had to be signed off by my care home manager and YTS advisor to pass my modules of competence.
