My skills and abilities have developed over the years, through past experiences and employment. The skills I have learnt cover a wide spectrum of social, clerical and numerical skills. I have learnt leadership and negotiation skills and developed a stronger understanding of communication.

My previous employments over the years have been clerically based, being a Hotel Receptionist, Property Sales/Negotiator and Solicitor’s Secretary, as well as an Account/Wages Clerk and Representative for International Youth Year.

My clerical skills include audio and copy typing, photo copying, telephone communications and computer administration using Microsoft Word and Excel.

I am hardworking, easy going and very patient. I have a good sense of humour. I’m trustworthy, reliable and keen to provide assistance whenever and wherever it is needed.  I feel that I am suited for the position of Receptionist and Administrator. My clerical and work experience would allow me to provide a good foundation to help and develop new skills within the setting, being part of a team, which would add to the provision of a positive, well organised office.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like to stay fit by walking and cycling. After having breast cancer and my discharge from hospital in July 2017, I was determined to complete 2 things i had been previously prevented from doing because of my cancer treatment. With encouragement from family and friends I completed the110km Velothon ride, starting and finishing in Cardiff. I also completed the Carten, a ride of 165km from Cardiff to Tenby in 2018. I am especially proud of myself at the moment as I have successfully walked up to the top and back down Cadair Idris and Snowdon within the last month.
