Description

I had been a volunteer at Bocs a grass roots art centre in Caernarfon for many years, assisting administration by researching procurement, taking notes at meetings, fundraising and collecting data (for example filling questionnaires with visitors).  I have also helped with their community projects by supporting workshops and hanging artwork for exhibitions. In 2014 I coordinated the Halloween craft fair in Bocs, I was very pleased to hear the positive feedback we received from visitors.

I also do administration tasks and health and safety checks  in my current position as a receptionist in Travelodge. I also have been given positive mentions on Tripadvisor.

Customer service is important in any facility, working in Travelodge, New Look and Tesco has taught me its value. A happy customer is a returning customer.

Teamwork and leadership is vital in any organisation, whilst at the Air Training Corps I did my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh, it was essential to keep the group together and I got to engage in fantastic activities including flying planes/gliders, camping at various RAF stations across the UK, going to air shows and shooting.  I also earned my corporal stripes, with that I had to teach the younger cadets in subjects including map reading and aerodynamics. I also volunteered as a civilian instructor.

I have a 2:1 BA(hons) in Fine Art from University Institute Wales Cardiff and 2 Distinctions and a Merit Btec National Diploma in Art and Design from Coleg Menai, Bangor.

I’m a fluent Welsh speaker. I am currently  enjoying learning mandarin and I have passed my HSK level 1.

I also volunteered at a school in Caernarfon, I helped children with their Welsh reading.

I am confident in using Microsoft Office and Google Docs, I’m also learning how to use Opera, Verisae and Shield q.

I am a candidate with a passion for art and I am an honest team member.
